nano Text Editor

↷ In Terminal We have a Internal Editor calls “nano”.

↷ By Typing nano and press Enter, we can get this editor.

↷ In nano Editor we can create not only text files we can create HTML file along with their file         extensions.

↷ In this editor we csn’t use our mouse or normal keyboard keys. Nano Editor has specific shortcut for its editing.

↷Here are some Commands and Shortcut Key I konw to use in this nano Editor…

•  Ctrl + G                       Get Help

•  Ctrl + O                       Save

•  Ctrl + R                       Read File

•  Ctrl + C                       Cancel

•  Ctrl + K                       Cut

•  Ctrl + M                      Copy

•  Ctrl + U                       Paste

•  Ctrl + K                       Delete (To delete a entire line you have to press Ctrl key and type K)

•  Ctrl + X                       Exit

•  Ctrl + L                       Refresh

•  Ctrl + Y                       Previous Page

•  Ctrl + N                       Next Page

•  Ctrl + P                       Previous Line

•  Ctrl + T                       Go To File Browser
